Let your doctor know about cough, or throat irritation that does not go away. Drink plenty of fluids while taking medicine to overcome muscle weakness, dry mouth and extreme thirst.
Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any liver or kidney problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor for advice before taking this medicine. Hypertension is clinically high blood pressure. Persistent high arterial blood pressure above 120/80 mm HG is termed as pre-hypertension or hypertension, but the point to be emphasized is that this rise in blood pressure is persistent. Transient increase in BP occurs in stress and anxiety and needs to be treated accordingly.
Lipril-H Tablet is used to lower high blood pressure. Lisinopril in Lipril-H Tablet is an ACE inhibitor that relaxes blood vessels, while hydrochlorothiazide in Lipril-H Tablet is a diuretic (water pill) that helps the body remove excess salt and water. Together, they reduce strain on the heart and lower the risk of heart attack and stroke.
Who should not take Lipril-H Tablet?
Individuals should not take Lipril-H Tablet if they have ever had a severe allergic reaction to ACE inhibitor medications, are unable to pass urine, or have a history of angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat).
