FAQs
Does Flumed M Cream leave traces at the application site?
Flumed M Cream is a lightweight, non-greasy formulation that absorbs completely without leaving marks. It is easily applied and leaves no traces. If you notice any changes in skin color at the application site, consult your doctor for an appropriate evaluation.
Can I bandage the application site after applying Flumed M Cream?
You should avoid bandaging, covering, or wrapping the skin area treated with Flumed M Cream, unless directed by your doctor. Doing so can trap the medicine and may create a seal-like condition over the affected area.
When should I expect the results after using Flumed M Cream?
The exact time Flumed M Cream takes to show results is not known. However, you may expect improvement in your symptoms in a few days of regular use. If you do not observe any signs of improvement in 7 - 10 days of regular use, consult your doctor for reassessment of treatment and condition.
Can I use Flumed M Cream over my face?
You should avoid using Flumed M Cream over face. Like other topical corticosteroids, prolonged use of Flumed M Cream can cause thinning of the skin and underlying tissues. This can happen even with short-term use, especially in areas where skin folds (like intertriginous or flexor areas) or on the face.
Is Flumed M Cream safe to use in children?
Flumed M Cream contains a corticosteroid (topical). Topical corticosteroids can sometimes cause problems with hormone balance (HPA axis suppression), Cushing's syndrome, or increased blood pressure inside the skull (intracranial hypertension) in children. Children have a larger skin surface area compared to their body weight, which can lead to higher absorption of topical corticosteroids.<br>Signs of hormone imbalance (adrenal suppression) are slowed growth, gaining weight more slowly than usual, low levels of cortisol (a stress hormone), no response to tests that check hormone levels, etc. Also, the signs of increased pressure in the skull (Intracranial Hypertension) are soft spots on the baby’s head bulging out, headaches, swelling behind the eyes (can affect vision), etc.
Who should not use Flumed M Cream?
Individuals should not use Flumed M Cream if they are allergic to any of its ingredients, or in and around the ear canal if there is a hole in the eardrum.
