How Eylea Injection works
Eylea 40mg/ml Injection works by blocking a substance in the eye called VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor), which causes abnormal blood vessels to grow and leak fluid. In diabetic macular edema, this leakage leads to swelling in the central part of the retina (macula), affecting vision. It reduces fluid buildup, decreases swelling, and helps improve or maintain vision.
