Practise yoga or meditation or take up a hobby. Ensure that you have a sound sleep every night as this also reduces your stress and hence helps in keeping your symptoms well-controlled. Try to eat smaller, frequent meals and avoid eating late at night. There should be a gap of at least 3 to 4 hours between dinner and going to bed at night. Take more fiber-rich foods such as fresh fruits, vegetables and avoid spicy or oily foods. Reducing weight can also help if you are obese.
