How Spaban Products work

Dicyclomine + Paracetamol is a combination of two medicines: dicyclomine and paracetamol, which relieves abdominal pain and cramps. Dicyclomine + Paracetamol1 is an anti-cholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Dicyclomine + Paracetamol2 is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain.

Spaban 20mg/500mg Tablet is used to relieve abdominal pain and stomach cramps, especially when the pain is caused by intestinal spasms. It contains dicyclomine and paracetamol. Stop the medicine and contact your doctor immediately if you develop severe rash, breathing difficulty, facial swelling, fainting, or persistent vomiting.

Q. Can I stop taking Spaban 20mg/500mg Tablet when my pain is relieved?

Spaban 20mg/500mg Tablet is usually used for short-term relief of abdominal cramps and may be stopped once the pain improves. However, if your doctor has advised you to continue it for a specific duration, follow their instructions.

Q. Can I take a higher dose of Spaban 20mg/500mg Tablet than recommended?
