Rosuvas D 10 Tablet is used to lower high cholesterol and triglyceride levels, thereby reducing your risk of heart attack and stroke. Vitamin D3 in Rosuvas D 10 Tablet helps support bone health and reduce muscle pain sometimes associated with statins (cholesterol-lowering medicine present in Rosuvas D 10 Tablet).

Before using Rosuvas D 10 Tablet, inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease, thyroid issues, muscle disorders, diabetes, or a history of any allergic reaction to similar medicines. Tell your doctor about all other medicines and supplements you are taking, including over-the-counter products and herbals.

Individuals should not take Rosuvas D 10 Tablet if they are allergic to rosuvastatin, vitamin D3, or any ingredient present in Rosuvas D 10 Tablet. Avoid use in active liver disease, unexplained high liver enzymes, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or if you have a history of severe muscle side effects with statins.

Although they are rare, serious side effects of Rosuvas D 10 Tablet include severe muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness (which may signal muscle breakdown and kidney damage), unexplained tiredness, yellowing of eyes or skin (liver issues), dark urine, and severe allergic reactions (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing). Seek immediate medical attention if you notice these symptoms.

Rosuvas D 10 Tablet treatment is typically long-term. Improvements in cholesterol and triglycerides can be seen in 4 to 6 weeks, but the full benefit is seen with continued use for a few months. Do not stop taking the medication abruptly without your doctor’s advice, as cholesterol levels can rise again.
