Ramilor

Ramilor 2.5mg/50mg Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). This medicine lowers blood pressure and reduces the risk of complications such as stroke, heart attack, and kidney problems.

Serious side effects of Ramilor 2.5mg/50mg Tablet include swelling of the face/lips/tongue (angioedema), difficulty breathing, severe drop in blood pressure, kidney problems, high potassium levels, and jaundice (yellowing of the skin/eyes). Seek immediate medical attention if severe reactions occur.

Individuals should not take Ramilor 2.5mg/50mg Tablet if they have had previous allergic reactions due to Ramilor 2.5mg/50mg Tablet, have severe kidney or liver impairment, abnormal electrolyte levels (especially high potassium), are pregnant, or planning pregnancy. Ramilor 2.5mg/50mg Tablet should not be used in pregnancy due to the risk of birth defects.

While taking Ramilor 2.5mg/50mg Tablet, let your doctor know about all chronic conditions, especially kidney or liver problems, diabetes, or heart disease. Avoid potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods (bananas, oranges) unless advised. Rise slowly from sitting/lying positions to prevent dizziness.

Your doctor will regularly monitor your blood pressure, kidney function, and blood electrolytes (especially potassium) to evaluate whether Ramilor 2.5mg/50mg Tablet is working properly. Report persistent dizziness, swelling, muscle weakness, or heartbeat changes right away to your doctor.
