How Poxillin Plus Products work
Amoxycillin + Bromhexine is a combination of two medicines: Amoxycillin + Bromhexine1 and Amoxycillin + Bromhexine2 which treat respiratory tract infections associated with excessive mucus (phlegm). Amoxycillin + Bromhexine1 is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Amoxycillin + Bromhexine2 is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Addition of Amoxycillin + Bromhexine2 enhances the antibacterial effect of Amoxycillin + Bromhexine1.

Additionally, it is important to know that irregular treatment, repeated use, and misuse of Poxillin Kid Plus Syrup can make the bacteria resistant, affecting the future course of treatment.

Although rare, Poxillin Kid Plus Syrup may cause some serious side effects such as persistent vomiting, kidney damage, allergy, diarrhea, and severe gastrointestinal infections. Therefore, if your child experiences any such unwanted effects, consult your child’s doctor at the earliest.
