No, Oktus Cough Syrup is advised for the treatment of wet cough. It aims to expel the mucus from the airway tract, thereby relieving your child from throat irritation, congestion and rendering him a soothing effect. Whereas, for a dry cough, cough suppressants are a better option. So, it will be wise to ask your child’s doctor before giving any medicine to your child.

An overdose or a prolonged intake of Oktus Cough Syrup may cause serious side effects like seizures, rapid heart rate, and excess salivation.
