Lorkem

Lorkem 8 Tablet is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) used orally to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, and other musculoskeletal or joint disorders. It may also be prescribed for acute lumbar pain and postoperative pain.

Individuals should not use Lorkem 8 Tablet if they are allergic to Lornoxicam, aspirin, other NSAIDs, or any ingredient present in Lorkem 8 Tablet. This medicine should also not be used if they have peptic ulcers, history of gastrointestinal bleeding, severe liver, kidney, or heart failure, bleeding disorders, thrombocytopenia (low blood platelets), are pregnant (especially in the last 3 months), or breastfeeding, or are a child under 18 years.

Before starting Lorkem 8 Tablet, you should inform your doctor if you have a history of asthma, allergies, heart failure, high blood pressure, liver/kidney disease, diabetes, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, lupus erythematosus, or blood coagulation disorders. Avoid alcohol, and monitor for any stomach or intestinal symptoms.

Serious side effects of Lorkem 8 Tablet include signs of stomach or intestinal bleeding (black or bloody stools, vomiting blood, severe abdominal pain), allergic reactions (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing), kidney or liver problems (yellowing of skin/eyes, dark urine, severe fatigue), or sudden mood changes. Consult your doctor immediately if you experience any of these symptoms.

You should take Lorkem 8 Tablet only as prescribed and do not use long-term unless directed, as extended use increases risk of stomach and heart complications. Relief is usually noticed within a few hours for pain, but follow your doctor’s instructions for duration.
