Patient Concerns about Hyla Products

Frequently asked questions about Hyla Products

Q. What is Hyla Eye Drop?

Hyla Eye Drop is a naturally occurring substance in the body and is also present in the eye. Hyla Eye Drop works as artificial tears that are required when hyaluronic acid is deficient in the eyes.

Q. What is Hyla Eye Drop used for?

Hyla Eye Drop is used for the treatment of dry eye syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca). In addition to treating dryness, it is also helpful in protecting the eyes. It is also used to treat dryness of the cornea caused by trauma or when the eyes cannot be closed due to nerve paralysis.

Q. How do you use Hyla Eye Drop?

You should use the Hyla Eye Drop exactly as directed by your doctor. Do not touch the tip of the container, and avoid it coming in contact with the eye or eyelid. After opening the eyelid, instill 1-2 drops in the eye with someone’s help. To prevent washout, try to avoid using any other eye medications for at least 15 minutes.

Q. Can Hyla Eye Drop blur the vision?

Yes, some patients may experience blurring of vision, but it is temporary and passes quickly. It is recommended that after instilling the Hyla Eye Drop, you blink your eyes several times to spread it over the eye surface.

Q. How long do I need to use Hyla Eye Drop?

Continue using Hyla Eye Drop as long as your doctor has recommended. The time duration will depend on your eye condition. It can be used for an extended period if required.
