Fungicort

Fungicort Cream is a combination medicine for fungal skin infections that are inflamed or itchy (for example, fungal rashes with redness and intense itching). The antifungal (terbinafine) targets the fungus, and the steroid (mometasone) reduces the swelling and itch.

Fungicort Cream should not be used if the person is allergic to terbinafine, mometasone, related corticosteroids, or any ingredient in the medicine. Also, individuals should avoid using Fungicort Cream on certain conditions, such as rosacea, acne on the face, perioral dermatitis, genital itching from non-fungal causes, open wounds, ulcerated skin, bacterial/viral infections (like impetigo or cold sores), or where the skin is broken.
