How Espin-AT Products work
S-Amlodipine + Atenolol is a combination of two medicines: S-Amlodipine + Atenolol1 and S-Amlodipine + Atenolol2 which lower blood pressure effectively. S-Amlodipine + Atenolol1 is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels while S-Amlodipine + Atenolol2 is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

Frequently asked questions about Espin-AT Products
Frequently asked questions about Espin-AT Products
Q. When will I notice improvements in my blood pressure after taking Espin-AT Tablet?
Blood pressure typically begins to decrease within a few hours after Espin-AT Tablet dosing. However, the full effects of Espin-AT Tablet on blood pressure are seen after a few weeks of consistent use. Continue taking Espin-AT Tablet even if you feel well, as hypertension (high blood pressure) often has no symptoms.
Q. Who should not take Espin-AT Tablet?
Individuals should avoid taking Espin-AT Tablet if they have serious heart problems (like heart block or very slow heartbeat), have severe heart failure, have allergies to any ingredients, or are currently experiencing cardiogenic shock (a condition where the heart can't pump enough blood to meet the body's needs).
Q. What are the serious side effects of Espin-AT Tablet to watch out for?
During Espin-AT Tablet treatment, you should seek immediate medical help if you experience serious side effects such as dizziness or fainting, shortness of breath, chest pain getting worse, very slow heartbeat, swelling of face, lips, or throat (allergic reaction), worsening angina or a heart attack after starting or increasing dose.
Q. Can I stop taking Espin-AT Tablet when my blood pressure improves?
Do not stop taking Espin-AT Tablet when your blood pressure improves as stopping Espin-AT Tablet suddenly can cause dangerous heart rhythm changes or may worsen the blood pressure. If needed, your doctor will create a gradual tapering plan. This medication controls but doesn't cure hypertension.
Q. How does Espin-AT Tablet affect exercise?
Espin-AT Tablet may reduce exercise tolerance by limiting maximum heart rate. Monitor how you feel during activity and stay hydrated. The ankle swelling from Espin-AT Tablet may worsen with prolonged standing.
Q. What monitoring will I need during Espin-AT Tablet treatment?
When on treatment with Espin-AT Tablet, regular blood pressure checks (including home monitoring), periodic blood tests for kidney/liver function, and heart rate monitoring are important. Your doctor may also check for any swelling in the body and review the effectiveness of the medication.
Q. What precautions should I take while on Espin-AT Tablet?
While taking Espin-AT Tablet, you should avoid alcohol which can worsen side effects like dizziness. Monitor your blood pressure regularly, and be cautious when standing up quickly as it may cause dizziness. Do not miss the doses and take them exactly as prescribed.
