Amoxycillin + Cloxacillin + Lactobacillus is a combination of three medicines: Amoxycillin + Cloxacillin + Lactobacillus1, Amoxycillin + Cloxacillin + Lactobacillus2, and Amoxycillin + Cloxacillin + Lactobacillus3. Amoxycillin + Cloxacillin + Lactobacillus1 and Amoxycillin + Cloxacillin + Lactobacillus2 are antibiotics which work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering that is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Together, they eradicate your infection effectively. Giving your child Elmox LB Tablet for a long-term can cause fungal infection (oral thrush) in the mouth and severe gastrointestinal infections (superinfections). Therefore, do not alter the dose and duration on your own and give Elmox LB Tablet to your child exactly as prescribed. Additionally, irregular treatment, repeated use, and misuse of Elmox LB Tablet can make the bacteria resistant.

Although rare, Elmox LB Tablet may cause some serious side effects such as persistent vomiting, kidney damage, allergy, diarrhea, and severe gastrointestinal infections. Always consult your child’s doctor for help in such a situation.

It is advised not to give Elmox LB Tablet to children if they have jaundice. The reason being, Elmox LB Tablet contains an active ingredient called cloxacillin which can aggravate the symptoms of jaundice in your child.
