Nicotinamide + Thyroxine + Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is a combination of three medicines: Nicotinamide + Thyroxine + Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)1, Nicotinamide + Thyroxine + Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)2 and Nicotinamide + Thyroxine + Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)3. Nicotinamide + Thyroxine + Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)2 is a synthetic version of a hormone produced by the thyroid gland. It works by replacing the thyroid hormones that your thyroid gland cannot produce. This relieves the symptoms of hypothyroidism (tiredness, weight gain, and depression). Nicotinamide + Thyroxine + Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)1 and Nicotinamide + Thyroxine + Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)3 provide essential nutrients.

The various drugs include antacids, iron, sucralfate, cholestyramine, proton pump inhibitors, carbamazepine, phenobarbital, and phenytoin. These drugs can lower the levels of thyroxine. Inform your doctor if you are taking any of these medicines. Your doctor may adjust your dose.

Q. What is the best time to take Ebexid 20mg/15mg/2mg Tablet?

It is best to take Ebexid 20mg/15mg/2mg Tablet on an empty stomach (ideally, first thing in the morning before breakfast) as it contains Thyroxine / Levothyroxine. No tea/coffee, food or milk should be taken 1 hour before and 2 hours after taking this medicine as it affects the absorption of Thyroxine / Levothyroxine. For those who cannot take it empty stomach, can take it with breakfast but this could cause fluctuation in the TSH levels.
