DInomac

DInomac 2mg Tablet contains a medicine, dienogest, which is a type of progesterone (a female sex hormone). It is used in the treatment of endometriosis, a painful disorder in which the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus grows outside your uterus.

The exact duration of the therapy will be decided by your doctor depending on the condition you are being treated for. The duration generally varies if you are being treated for endometriosis or if it is being given in combination with oral birth control pills. This medicine can be taken for a long time, as it is found to be quite well tolerated by the patients if taken as prescribed by the doctor. Do consult your doctor before taking this medication.

DInomac 2mg Tablet should be taken at the same time every day with water or some other liquid. You can take this medicine with or without food. Do not skip or delay taking your DInomac 2mg Tablet by more than 12 hours. The dosage and duration will be recommended depending on the condition. Endometriosis is a condition where cells similar to those present in the inner layer of the uterus, called the endometrium, grow outside the uterus. This may happen on the wall of the uterus or even outside it. The exact way in which DInomac 2mg Tablet treats endometriosis is not yet known. However, it is probable that, being a progestogen-only hormone, it suppresses the production of estrogen, preventing the growth of the endometrium.
