How Dermasalic Products work
Beclometasone + Salicylic Acid is a combination of two medicines: Beclometasone + Salicylic Acid1 and Beclometasone + Salicylic Acid2 which treat eczema and psoriasis. Beclometasone + Salicylic Acid1 is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Beclometasone + Salicylic Acid2 is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Beclometasone + Salicylic Acid1 into the skin.

Frequently asked questions about Dermasalic Products
Frequently asked questions about Dermasalic Products
Q. What is Dermasalic Cream used for, and which skin conditions does it treat?
Dermasalic Cream is used to treat steroid-sensitive skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and other hyperkeratotic (thick, scaly) dermatoses. Dermasalic Cream contains beclometasone, which reduces inflammation, and salicylic acid, which helps remove scales.
Q. Who should not use Dermasalic Cream?
Individuals should not use Dermasalic Cream if they are allergic to any of its ingredients, have untreated skin infections, rosacea, acne, or perioral dermatitis. It should not be applied to open wounds.
Q. Can I use Dermasalic Cream on large areas of skin?
Use Dermasalic Cream on large areas, or for long periods only if directed by your doctor, as it may increase the risk of side effects, including thinning skin, and absorption of the steroid into the bloodstream.
Q. What precautions should I follow while using Dermasalic Cream?
While using Dermasalic Cream, you should avoid covering the treated area with bandages unless told by your doctor. Do not use it for longer than prescribed, and do not stop suddenly. Your doctor may advise you to reduce its use gradually to avoid flare-ups. Keep away from the eyes, and wash your hands after application.
Q. Is Dermasalic Cream safe for children?
Dermasalic Cream should be used with caution in children, and only under medical supervision. Children are more likely to absorb steroids (a medicine component present in Dermasalic Cream) through the skin, which may affect growth and hormone balance.
