How Birtrex AM Products work

Metoprolol Succinate + Atorvastatin is a combination of two medicines: Metoprolol Succinate + Atorvastatin1 and Metoprolol Succinate + Atorvastatin2 which treat high blood pressure and cholesterol. Metoprolol Succinate + Atorvastatin1 is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart. It slows down the heart rate and relaxes blood vessels to improve blood flow. Metoprolol Succinate + Atorvastatin2 is a lipid-lowering medication which works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Together they reduce the risk of heart diseases.
