Side Effects of Bioxib-TH are Diarrhea, Flatulence, Dizziness, Abdominal pain, Constipation, Gastritis, Dyspepsia, Nausea, Vomiting, Oral ulcer, Dry socket, Edema (swelling), Drowsiness, Headache, High blood pressure, Increased alanine aminotransferase, Increased aspartate aminotransferase, Ecchymosis (discoloration of the skin resulting from bleeding underneath).

How Bioxib-TH Products work

Etoricoxib + Thiocolchicoside is a combination of two medicines: Etoricoxib + Thiocolchicoside1 and Etoricoxib + Thiocolchicoside2, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Etoricoxib + Thiocolchicoside1 is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Etoricoxib + Thiocolchicoside2 is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

Q. Can I stop taking Bioxib-TH Tablet when my pain is relieved?
Bioxib-TH Tablet, when used for long-term pain relief, should be continued for as long as advised by your physician. It can be discontinued if you are using it for short-term pain relief.
Q. Can the use of Bioxib-TH Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, the use of Bioxib-TH Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.
Q. Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Bioxib-TH Tablet?
The use of Bioxib-TH Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to painkillers (NSAIDS) or any of the components or excipients of this medicine. The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or in patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcer / bleeding It should also be avoided in patients with history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.
Q. Can I take Bioxib-TH Tablet with Vitamin B-complex?
Yes, Bioxib-TH Tablet can be taken with Vitamin B-complex preparations. While Bioxib-TH Tablet helps to relieve pain, Vitamin B-complex can help to correct the vitamin deficiency that might be causing your symptoms.
Q. Can the use of Bioxib-TH Tablet cause damage to kidneys?
Yes, the long-term use of Bioxib-TH Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects them from damage. Use of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage on long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.
Q. Will Bioxib-TH Tablet be more effective if taken in higher doses?
No, taking more of this medicine will not make it more effective, rather it can lead to increased side effects. If the symptoms are getting severe, please consult the doctor for re-evaluation.
Q. What is the recommended storage condition for Bioxib-TH Tablet?
Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.
