Biodyle C 1% Eye Drop is used to widen the pupil and relax the eye’s focusing muscles. This helps doctors conduct a clear examination of the inside of the eye during tests like fundoscopy and refraction. It is also used to help relieve symptoms associated with inflammation of the uveal tract, such as uveitis.

Your doctor will advise when to use Biodyle C 1% Eye Drop, but it is typically given before an eye examination or as directed for inflammatory eye conditions. The drops are often started a short time before the procedure to allow the pupil to dilate fully.

The effects of Biodyle C 1% Eye Drop, including pupil dilation and blurred focusing, can last for several hours. During this time, your vision may be blurry, and your eyes may be more sensitive to bright light.

Soft contact lenses should be removed before using this medicine and should not be worn during treatment unless your doctor says it is safe.

Biodyle C 1% Eye Drop can cause blurred vision and increased sensitivity to light. Avoid driving, operating machinery, or performing tasks that require clear vision until your vision returns to normal.

Biodyle C 1% Eye Drop should not be used in people with narrow-angle glaucoma or those with known allergy to cyclopentolate or benzalkonium chloride. It is also not recommended for very young infants or without medical advice during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
