Individuals should not take Atol L 50mg/50mg Tablet if they are allergic to any ingredient of the medicine, have severe heart rhythm problems, cardiogenic shock, heart failure, severe kidney or liver disease, or are pregnant (especially in the second or third trimester).

Although they are rare, serious side effects of Atol L 50mg/50mg Tablet include severe allergic reactions (rash, swelling, trouble breathing), extremely low blood pressure, dangerously slow heartbeat, difficulty breathing, persistent dizziness, fainting, or muscle pain with dark urine (possible kidney problems or rhabdomyolysis). Atenolol in Atol L 50mg/50mg Tablet may hide symptoms of low blood sugar, and Losartan in Atol L 50mg/50mg Tablet can cause changes in potassium or other electrolyte levels.
