Understanding USG Biophysical Profile (BPS)
What is USG Biophysical Profile (BPS)?
An UltraSonoGraphy (USG) – Bio Physical Profile (BPP) is conducted in the last three months of pregnancy. This test is used to evaluate the well-being of the fetus. The biophysical profile uses ultrasound and cardiotocography (CTG), to examine the fetus.
The BPP note downs the baby's heartbeat rate, muscle quality, movement, inhalation, and the quantity of amniotic fluid nearby the fetus.
