USG Level I - NT Scan (Twin)
What is USG Level I - NT Scan (Twin)?
Ultrasound NT scan is a routine ultrasound performed between 11 to 14 weeks of pregnancy. Fetuses with increased fluid at their base of the necks (nuchal fold) may have an extra chromosome. It is basically used to screen for Down’s syndrome or other congenital defects. It is a special type of ultrasound. A sonographer first moves the transducer across your belly to measure your crown to rump to ensure that the fetal age is accurate.
