X-Ray Left Hip Joint AP View is an imaging test that helps detect any potential fractures, dislocations, bone lesions, or degenerative diseases of the left hip joint. An X-ray is a form of high-energy electromagnetic radiation that gives images of the affected joint. It helps visualize any abnormality with the hip bone and the hip joint.
The X-ray is conducted on the patient while the patient is in a lying-down position. Pregnant women cannot get an X-ray done as there is a small chance that the radiation can harm the baby in the womb.
