Temozolomide is used in the treatment of malignant melanoma, Hodgkin’s disease, multiple myeloma, brain tumor, blood cancer, breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, ovarian cancer and lung cancer.
How Temozolomide works
Temozolomide is an anti-cancer medication. It enters the brain tissues and works by damaging the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of the cancer cells. This stops their growth and multiplication.
