Sodium Hyaluronate is the salt form of hyaluronic acid which reduces the friction in the joints and helps them to work smoothly. Chondroitin is a dietary supplement and a vital part of cartilage (a smooth elastic tissue that protects the bones and maintains their structure). Taking chondroitin can prevent cartilage breaking down and can also stimulate its repair mechanisms.
