How Nivolumab works
Nivolumab is an anti-cancer medication. It works by blocking a protein (PD-1) on the surface of certain immune cells called T-cells. This action activates the T-cells to locate and kill cancer cells.
Common side effects of Nivolumab
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
