Crotamiton Topical + Hydrocortisone Topical is a combination of two medicines: Crotamiton Topical and Hydrocortisone Topical. Crotamiton Topical is an antiparasitic medicine which works by killing the tiny insects (mites) and their eggs, which cause scabies. Hydrocortisone Topical is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
