Chloramphenicol+Clotrimazole+Beclometasone is used in the treatment of ear infection.
How Chloramphenicol + Clotrimazole + Beclometasone works
Chloramphenicol + Clotrimazole + Beclometasone is a combination of three medicines: Chloramphenicol , Clotrimazole and Beclometasone. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Beclometasone is a steroid. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause redness, swelling and itching.

- Use it as per dose and duration suggested by the doctor.
- Do not touch the tip to any surface, or to your ear, to avoid contamination.
- Talk to your doctor if your symptoms haven't started to improve within two days of starting treatment, if they get worse during treatment or if you get another ear infection.
- Avoid contact with your eyes, nose or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the drop in these areas.
- Stop using Chloramphenicol + Clotrimazole + Beclometasone and inform your doctor if you notice ear irritation, burning sensation or allergic reaction.
- Throw away any medicine left at the end of the course.
