How Benzydamine + Chlorhexidine Gluconate works

Benzydamine + Chlorhexidine Gluconate is a combination of two medicines: Benzydamine and Chlorhexidine gluconate which treat mouth infections. Benzydamine is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Chlorhexidine gluconate is an antiseptic and disinfectant. It works by binding to the surface of teeth, inner cheeks and gums. This kills the infectious microorganisms that cause gum disease, tartar and other mouth infections.
