IRRIGATING SOLUTIONS
These are sterile (i.e. free from all microorganisms) solutions that are used to irrigate or wash different tissues or organs of the body. They are generally used during a surgical procedure (e.g. to irrigate the urinary bladder during the procedure of cystoscopy) by a healthcare professional to help improve visibility or prevent injury to the organ.
