AMINOGLYCOSIDES
Aminoglycosides are a class of antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections. They have broad-spectrum activity i.e. they are effective against a wide variety of bacterial infections. These medicines act by killing the bacteria, which helps to cure the underlying infection. They may be prescribed alone or used in combination with other antibiotics. Some medicines in this group are also used to treat tuberculosis.
