SBL Tonsilat Tablet Tonsils are the mass of tissue on both sides of the back of the mouth. They act as filters by trapping germs that could otherwise enter the body through the throat and cause infections. Tonsils also produce antibodies that fight infections. But Sometimes, the tonsils themselves get infected, resulting in a condition known as Tonsillitis. It is a painful condition that may accompany a very high fever. Infection of the tonsils can also result in earache, headache, hoarseness of voice and difficulty swallowing. In children, it may also be accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Tonsillectomy, i.e. surgical removal of tonsils, should be avoided as they are part of the bodys immune system and are the first line of defence protecting the body from respiratory infections.SBLs TONSILAT Tablets prevent as well as condition the disease of tonsils.
