1. Is it painful to use M-Strip?
No, it’s completely pain-free. You simply wear the collection M-Strip on your sanitary pad, no insertion or medical procedure is involved.
2. When exactly should I use M-Strip?
Use it on the heaviest day of your periods, generally around Day 1 or 2 of your periods. That gives the best sample for accurate testing.
3. Can I use it if I have irregular periods?
Yes, just wait for a day when the flow is moderate to heavy and follow the same instructions.
4. Do I have to go to a hospital or clinic?
No, the entire process is done from home. You don’t need any doctor visit or lab appointments.
5. When should I screen?
You should screen when you are:

7. Is Menstrual screening reliable for HPV screening?
Yes. Menstrual blood contains cervical cells and viral DNA, making it suitable for accurate detection using WHO-recommended RT-PCR testing methods.
8. What if we wear M-Strip for too long or too short?
Wear it for 3-6 hours during heavy flow until at least 2-3 dots of strips filled. Don’t exceed 8hrs. If it’s worn for a very short time, we might get enough of a sample.
9. How do I pack and send the sample?

10. Does the sample need to be refrigerated and frozen?
The sample doesn’t need any cold chain storage. The sample stays stable at room temperature for a longer period.
11. When will I get my results?
Within 2-3 working days after we receive your sample. Your report will be sent via WhatsApp or email.
12. What if my result is positive for HPV?
If HPV is detected, don’t panic. It doesn’t mean cancer. It just means you’ll need to follow up with your doctor for further tests.
