Intestozyme® Syrup Intestozyme® Syrup is a digestive enzyme formulation presented as a flavoured oral liquid for post-meal use. It is intended to support digestion of dietary starches and proteins following meals. The formula includes fungal diastase derived from Aspergillus oryzae and pepsin as the primary active enzymes. Fungal diastase may help support the breakdown of cooked starches while pepsin may help support protein digestion. The syrup is pineapple flavoured and sugar-free to aid palatability for adults and children. Each 5 ml serving provides standardized enzyme amounts and a small caloric value for post-meal use.
