- Docosahexaenoic Acid, a fatty acid present in other mammals but us, is used as a supplement for the better mental development of the babies. Naturally, DHA is present only in the mothers milk. It plays a key role in the development of eyes and nervous system. Methylcobalamine, physiologically equivalent to Vitamin B12, prevents the onset of anemia. It is taken in order to increase the red blood cells in the body. Vitamin B6, also called pyridoxine, is involved integral cellular processes such as myelin formation and formation of chemicals involved in signal transmission to the brain. L-methylfolate (Vitamin B9) present in the capsule is important in contributing towards increasing the haemoglobin levels of the females and increased amount of folate ion is also required during pregnancy. Vitamin D3 ( also known as cholecalciferol) plays an important role in maintaining the adequate calcium and phosphate levels in the human body. It plays an important role in the normal functioning of the nerves, cells, muscles and bones. Primarily, Vitamin D3 mediates the absorption of calcium and phosphorus from the human body.
