When to Schedule Your At-Home Administration?
It is a once-weekly schedule. Get your doses preferably on the same day each week. It can be taken with or without food.
What to Expect During Administration?
The professional is equipped to handle the medication safely, assess the injection site, and address any concerns during the process.
The trained professional will then identify an appropriate injection site. The preferred areas include:
- The front of the thighs
- The lower abdomen (at least two inches away from the navel)
- The upper arm.
While the same general area may be used every week, the exact spot shall be rotated to minimize irritation.
Essential requirements for your at home administration
- Consent Form: A duly filled consent form (carried by our trained worker) is required before administration
- Doctor’s Prescription: A valid prescription must be presented at the time of administration
- Proper Storage: To maintain effectiveness, the injection/pen must be stored in cold storage at a temperature between 2-8°C (36-46°F). Do not freeze.
