Clobetasol + Salicylic Acid + Coal Tar is a combination of three medicines: Clobetasol + Salicylic Acid + Coal Tar1, Clobetasol + Salicylic Acid + Coal Tar2 and Clobetasol + Salicylic Acid + Coal Tar3 which treat psoriasis. Clobetasol + Salicylic Acid + Coal Tar1 is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Clobetasol + Salicylic Acid + Coal Tar2 and Clobetasol + Salicylic Acid + Coal Tar3 are keratolytic medicines which break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells and soften the skin.
