How Telma-MCT Products work

Chlorthalidone + Metoprolol Succinate + Telmisartan1 is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow. Chlorthalidone + Metoprolol Succinate + Telmisartan2 is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate, while Chlorthalidone + Metoprolol Succinate + Telmisartan3 is a calcium channel blocker which works by blocking the hormone angiotensin to further relax blood vessels.

You have been prescribed Telma-MCT for the treatment of high blood pressure.
Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent stroke and heart attack.
It may cause more frequent urination. Take it at least 4 hrs before bedtime to avoid waking up to urinate.
It may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
Telma-MCT may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and Inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth.
Do not stop taking Telma-MCT suddenly without talking to your doctor.
