Coal Tar + Salicylic Acid consists of two medicines: coal tar and salicylic acid, both work together to treat psoriasis by addressing the underlying causes. Coal tar decreases skin cells' rapid proliferation, decreasing scaling and inflammation in psoriatic plaques. Salicylic acid plays a supporting role in the process by softening and dissolving the thick, scaly patches and enhancing skin texture. Combined, these agents can help lower the psoriasis symptoms, promote softer skin, and allow the skin’s natural repair process.

You may get sunburned more easily. Avoid sun, sunlamps, and tanning beds. Use sunscreen and wear clothing and eyewear that protect you from the sun. Keep protecting yourself from sunburn for as long as you are told by your doctor.
Wash your hands before and after use of Tarsalic to avoid getting it in sensitive areas.
If your symptoms or health problems do not get better or if they become worse, call your doctor.
