Fibrinogen + Thrombin is a combination of two medicines: Fibrinogen + Thrombin1 and Fibrinogen + Thrombin2. These are proteins which are involved in the natural clotting process. Fibrinogen + Thrombin2 works by converting Fibrinogen + Thrombin1 into smaller units (called fibrin), which then stick together, leading to rapid formation of a blood clot. The clot helps to stop the bleeding and seals the wound.
