Fibrinogen+Thrombin is used in the treatment of bleeding.

How Fibrinogen + Thrombin works

Fibrinogen + Thrombin is a combination of two medicines: Fibrinogen and Thrombin. These are proteins which are involved in the natural clotting process. Thrombin works by converting Fibrinogen into smaller units (called fibrin), which then stick together, leading to rapid formation of a blood clot. The clot helps to stop the bleeding and seals the wound.
