How syncA Products work
Brinzolamide + Brimonidine is a combination of two medicines: Brinzolamide + Brimonidine1 and Brinzolamide + Brimonidine2. Brinzolamide + Brimonidine1 is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor while Brinzolamide + Brimonidine2 is a sympathomimetic. They work by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.

Q. What is syncA Eye Drop used for?
syncA Eye Drop is used to lower high pressure inside the eye in people with glaucoma (open‑angle), or ocular hypertension. Lowering eye pressure helps reduce the risk of optic nerve damage and vision loss.
Q. Who should not use syncA Eye Drop?
People should not use syncA Eye Drop if they are allergic to any of its ingredients, have had a serious reaction to sulfonamide medicines, or if the patient is a newborn or infant under two years of age.
Q. Can syncA Eye Drop cause serious allergic reactions?
Although rare, but serious allergic reactions like Stevens‑Johnson syndrome, severe skin rashes, or blood problems can occur. If you develop a severe rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing, stop the drops immediately and seek emergency help.
Q. Can syncA Eye Drop damage the cornea?
Yes, in people with not enough healthy cells on the inner surface of your cornea (low corneal endothelial cell counts), there is a risk of corneal swelling (corneal edema). Your doctor may check your eyes before starting treatment if you are at risk.

No, syncA Eye Drop has not been studied for acute angle‑closure glaucoma (increased eye pressure due to blockage in drainage pathways of your eye), and should not be relied on as the only treatment for that condition.
