How Supatret C Products work

Clindamycin + Tretinoin is a combination of two medicines: Clindamycin + Tretinoin1 and Clindamycin + Tretinoin2, which treats pimples (acne). Clindamycin + Tretinoin1 is an antibiotic which works by penetrating into the skin and killing acne-causing bacteria. Clindamycin + Tretinoin2 is a form of vitamin A which reduces oil production in the skin, replenishes the skin and helps keep your pores open.

  • Supatret C should be Applied as a thin layer onto clean, dry, unbroken skin affected by acne.
  • Clean the area to be treated with water and a non-medicated soap, and let it dry for 20-30 minutes before applying the medicine.
  • It may cause minor burning, stinging, or irritation when applied. Inform your doctor if this does not go away.
  •  Avoid contact with your eyes, nose or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the cream in these areas.
  • Avoid exposure to sunlight while using Supatret C as it increases the sensitivity of your skin. Use protective measures such as sun-cream or protective clothing.
  • Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Q. Can I use Supatret C Aqueous Gel every night?

Supatret C Aqueous Gel should be used only as directed by your physician. The dose depends on the condition your are being treated for and the strength of the medicine you are using. Do not use more than instructed by your doctor. Follow your doctor’s instructions religiously and do not alter the dose on your own.

Q. How long does it take for Supatret C Aqueous Gel to work for hyperpigmentation?

Supatret C Aqueous Gel works by replacing damaged skin cells with newer ones, thus rejuvenating the skin. However, it may take upto three to six months to achieve noticeable results. In some cases, it might take longer, depending upon the color of the post acne inflammatory pigmentation being treated, in relation to the normal surrounding skin.

Q. How do you use Supatret C Aqueous Gel cream?

Wash your face gently with mild soap and warm water and pat your skin dry with a towel. Just use a pea sized amount of Supatret C Aqueous Gel for applying over the entire face. Do not use more than the required dose as it may cause undesired side effects. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.

Q. Does Supatret C Aqueous Gel remove post-acne dark spots?

Supatret C Aqueous Gel lightens post acne dark spots by replacing the damaged skin cells with newer ones. Thus, it lightens the skin tone and makes it brighter and clearer than before.

Q. What if I forget a dose?- Can omit

If your forget to apply Supatret C Aqueous Gel at your usual time, do not apply it as you remember in order to make up for the missed dose. Use it at your usual time only and do not double the dose as it may cause unwanted side effects.

Q. Is it safe to use Supatret C Aqueous Gel in pregnancy and breastfeeding?

It is potentially unsafe to use this medicine while you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. It is not known whether this medicine.
