Q. Can the use of Stayrest cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, the use of Stayrest can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food or with antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you signs of dehydration, like dark colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination. Do not take any other medicine without speaking to a doctor.
Q. Can the use of Stayrest cause sleepiness or dizziness?
Yes, the most common side effect of Stayrest is drowsiness. Avoid driving, operating heavy machinery or engaging in other activities that need your full attention, unless your healthcare provider has permitted you to do so. Do not drink alcohol or take other central nervous system depressants, such as cough and cold medicines. Also, avoid taking certain pain relief medicines and medicines that help you sleep while taking Stayrest as it lead to severe drowsiness, causing falls or accidents.
Q. Can I take a higher than the recommended dose of this medicine?
No, taking a higher than the recommended dose of Stayrest can lead to increased side effects due to overdose. Do not start, stop or change the dosage of your medicine before consulting your doctor.
