Dicyclomine + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen + Tramadol is a combination of three medicines: Dicyclomine, Paracetamol and Tramadol. Dicyclomine is an anti-cholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain. Tramadol is an opioid analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception.

Inform your doctor as soon as possible if you experience any persistent problem while taking this medication.
Q. Can I stop taking Spasmo-Proxyvon Plus when my pain is relieved?
Spasmo-Proxyvon Plus is usually used for short term and can be discontinued when your pain is relieved. However, Spasmo-Proxyvon Plus should be continued if your physician has advised you to do so.
Q. Can the use of Spasmo-Proxyvon Plus cause constipation?
Yes, the use of Spasmo-Proxyvon Plus can cause constipation. To prevent constipation eat high-fiber foods like vegetables, fruits, cereals and drink plenty of water. Do some exercises like swimming, jogging or take a short walk. Talk to your doctor about taking some medicines to treat constipation if this persists for a long time.
Q. Can the use of Spasmo-Proxyvon Plus cause dry mouth?
Yes, the use of Spasmo-Proxyvon Plus can cause dry mouth. If you experience dry mouth, drink plenty of water. Take regular sips during the day and keep some water by your bed at night. You may use lip balm if your lips are also dry.
Q. Can I take a higher than the recommended dose of this medicine?
No, taking a higher than the recommended dose of Spasmo-Proxyvon Plus can increase the chances of side effects. If you are experiencing increased severity of pain or if the pain is not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
