How Sepgard AR Products work
Centbucridine + Feracrylum is a combination of two medicines: Centbucridine + Feracrylum1 and Centbucridine + Feracrylum2. Centbucridine + Feracrylum1 is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases pain sensation. Centbucridine + Feracrylum2 is an incomplete ferrous salt. When applied to fresh abrasions, it stops oozing of blood. It does so by activating an enzyme (thrombin) which promotes clot formation.
