Pelar-AP Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Paracetamol. It relieves pain and inflammation by lowering the levels of chemical substances in the body that cause them.
Q. Can I stop taking Pelar-AP Tablet when my pain is relieved?
If you are using the medication for a condition associated with long-term pain, then Pelar-AP Tablet should be continued for as long as advised by your physician. It can be discontinued if you are using it for short-term pain relief.
Q. Can the use of Pelar-AP Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, the use of Pelar-AP Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food, or antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid eating fatty or fried foods along with this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small, frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration, like dark-colored, strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination. Do not take any other medicine without speaking to your doctor.

Yes, using Pelar-AP Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady, or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.
Q. Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Pelar-AP Tablet?
The use of Pelar-AP Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine or in patients with known allergy to other painkillers (NSAIDs). It should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcers/bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.

Yes, Pelar-AP Tablet can be taken with vitamin B-complex preparations. While Pelar-AP Tablet helps relieve pain, vitamin B-complex can help correct the deficiency that might be causing the underlying painful condition.
