Ofloxacin + Dexamethasone + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose1 is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Ofloxacin + Dexamethasone + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose2 is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye/ear red, swollen and itchy. Ofloxacin + Dexamethasone + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose3 is a lubricating formulation which moistens the eyes/ears.
