Laprost Plus

Laprost Plus Eye Drop is used to lower pressure inside the eye, especially for people with glaucoma or ocular hypertension. This helps prevent vision loss or damage to the optic nerve.

Individuals should avoid using Laprost Plus Eye Drop if they have asthma or serious breathing problems. It should also be avoided by those with heart issues such as a slow heartbeat, heart failure, or certain heart rhythm problems. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to timolol, latanoprost, or any of the ingredients in Laprost Plus Eye Drop. It is also not approved for use in individuals under 18 years of age.

During Laprost Plus Eye Drop treatment, you should call your doctor immediately if you experience serious side effects of Laprost Plus Eye Drop, such as chest pain, trouble breathing, wheezing, swelling of face or lips, slow or irregular heartbeat, any muscle weakness, and severe eye pain or vision changes. These may indicate serious heart, breathing, or allergic reactions.

You should remove your contact lenses before applying Laprost Plus Eye Drop. Wait for 15 minutes before reinserting lenses. The preservative in the Laprost Plus Eye Drop can damage soft lenses. You may consider using Laprost Plus Eye Drop at bedtime if you wear contact lenses.

The exact time Laprost Plus Eye Drop takes to show its effect is not known. However, Laprost Plus Eye Drop may start working in a few hours, and you may expect improvement in eye pressure in a few hours. The full benefit of Laprost Plus Eye Drop may take a few weeks to months of regular use.

Laprost Plus Eye Drop may cause increased brown pigment in the iris (coloured part of the eye), which may be permanent/irreversible. Laprost Plus Eye Drop may also make your eyelashes longer/thicker, but it is reversible.

During Laprost Plus Eye Drop treatment, you should contact your doctor if you experience severe eye pain/redness, vision changes, rash/swelling around the eyes, breathing difficulties, etc.

You should use Laprost Plus Eye Drop within 4 weeks of opening it. Discard the medicine after 4 weeks, even if it has not expired. Follow the discard instructions provided on the product label or package insert.
